I recently was interviewed by Carolyn Baker on the Lifeboat Hour, on the Progressive Radio Network. We spent a good deal of time exploring the relationship of grief to a time of global crisis and how to keep the heart open in the face of overwhelming challenges. You can listen by clicking on the audio link above. Or you can follow the link to the PRN: http://lifeboathour.podbean.com/?s=francis+weller
This past September, I was interviewed by John Ernst at the Minnesota Men's Conference. We touch upon the communal nature of grief, the expressive virtue of anger, false happiness, and the two hands of grief and gratitude. You can watch the video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaI-4c92Mqo
In early September, I had a second conversation with Michael Lerner at The New School of Commonweal. This time our discussion ranged over many topics including beauty, ritual, grief, aging, complexes, mythic imagination, healing and so much more. The vault of wisdom stored at The New School is a treasure. Check it out. Here is the link for the podcast. We have received some wonderful comments from listeners: http://tns.commonweal.org/podcasts/francis-weller/#.Ul291xCPvRo
I was recently interviewed on Bread for the Journey Radio, part of the Voice America Network, by Marianna Cacciatore. It was a two-part conversation since we both felt that we needed two hours to cover the topic in a meaningful way. The longer time allowed us to linger on pieces that benefited from more breath and space. On Friday, November 30th, 2012, I had the honor of being interviewed by Michael Lerner, President of Commonweal, a retreat center located in Bolinas that focuses on issues of health and healing in the cancer community. It was an amazing conversation. Here is the podcast address. http://www.commonweal.org/new-school/audiofiles/podcast/136_f_weller_longcut.mp3 Let me know what you think.
